The article focuses on issues surrounding searches, seizures and reasonable suspicion under the U.S rule of law. Topics discussed include the U.S Supreme Court Chief Justice Earl Warren's opinion in case Terry v. Ohio that addressed the Fourth Amendment prohibition on unreasonable searches and seizures, the Supreme Court's decision in case Whren v. United States that addressed traffic offense committed by a driver and the Fourth Amendment prohibition and the U.S Equal Protection Clause.
